Our mission at Captain Doug's is to offer you safe Everglades boat tours through the scenic and historic Everglades River. At Captain Doug's, your safety is a top priority.  Our company hires U.S. Coast Guard licensed Captains, and our boats meet strict Coast Guard safety requirements.

We'll provide you with the opportunity to experience the highlight of your Everglades visit. You'll travel with a knowledgeable guide and share the majestic beauty of this truly remarkable area.  Capture the moment, with photos of the native plants, like the mangroves and other local species.  You'll also want to take pictures of the alligators, the magnificent swimming and wading birds, as well as other local wildlife. Your enjoyment of the incredible waterways of the famous Everglades is our number one priority. 

Our History

Captain Doug's Airboats is the oldest airboat company in Everglades City. We continue to be the most popular. The length of experience and size of the fleet provides you with the assurance of a safe airboat ride in the Everglades. Our boats depart every 30 minutes, on a first come first serve basis, everyday of the year, with 15 airboats to serve you.
